Independent Counselling Enterprises (ICE) supports adults with disabilities to live meaningful, inclusive lives. We provide residential, non-residential, and support home services across Alberta. In Grande Prairie, CSCs are central to program leadership — guiding staff, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring clients receive safe, consistent, and high-quality support.
Role Summary
As a CSC, you will oversee several residential and non-residential programs in Grande Prairie. You will mentor and supervise staff, problem-solve daily challenges, and ensure programs run smoothly. CSCs are the key link between frontline staff, clients, families, guardians, and community partners — making this a great opportunity to build and grow leadership skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support staff in residential and community programs
- Ensure safe, client-centered, high-quality services
- Mentor staff to build skills and maintain accountability
- Review documentation, scheduling, and support plans
- Liaise with families, guardians, and community partners
- Respond to challenging situations using ICE procedures
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and program resources
- Conduct program visits and provide hands-on support as needed
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Services (or related field) preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in community disability services (leadership an asset)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Proficient with documentation, scheduling, and computer systems
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within 6 months)
- Basic First Aid with CPR Level A (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and $2M liability insurance
