About ICE

Independent Counselling Enterprises (ICE) supports adults with disabilities to live meaningful, inclusive lives. Our ECAT team is the after-hours link between staff, clients, and leadership, keeping programs running smoothly when the office is closed.

Role Summary

As an ECAT staff member, you’ll respond to staff calls, provide guidance, and help resolve urgent issues. You’ll assist with scheduling, document key information, and ensure programs stay safe and consistent. Strong communication, organization, and quick problem-solving are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and respond to after-hours staff calls
  • Provide guidance and problem-solving support
  • Record calls and actions accurately
  • Help coordinate shifts and staffing coverage
  • Support staff handling urgent or unexpected situations
  • Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Comfortable with documentation and basic computer systems
  • Reliable, professional, and attentive to detail
  • Experience in human services, scheduling, or customer support is a plus
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Basic First Aid with CPR Level A (or willingness to obtain)
  • Two work-related references
