Homecare Services
In conjunction with Alberta Health Services – Capital Region, we are prepared to provide Homecare Services to the northeast and central downtown areas
of Edmonton. These services would be funded by Alberta Health Services once the person has been admitted into the homecare program and assessed by
the AHS Case Manager. To access this program, please call 780-342-4400.
On a privately-funded basis, Independent Counselling Enterprises Inc. may also be employed to provide services to any part of Edmonton or its vicinity. If a private service is required, please call us directly at 780-454-9500, or toll free at 1-800-565-5710 and we will arrange a no-cost, no obligation assessment of your needs. As a member of the health care providers’ community, we offer the services of Health Care Aides who must abide by our philosophy of empowerment, integrity and caring for the care receiver. Our goal is to provide the highest quality client-centered home and health care services, while promoting maximum independence, self-esteem and self-determination. Services available may include assistance with bathing, dressing, transferring, medication administration, meal preparation and general home support with various housekeeping duties such as laundry, bed linen changes, vacuuming, and cleaning. Our resources also include a full range of Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse skills and related services, such as wound care, urinary catheterization, colostomy care, blood pressure monitoring, blood glucose monitoring and injection of medication.
