Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Terms of Employment: Casual Field Hours/Position
Location: Edmonton Areas
Posting Date: August 25, 2010
Closing Date: September 30, 2010
Salary Range: To be discussed at time of interview
Commitment : One Year Required
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performance of LPN duties as specified by Alberta Health Service’s Policies and Procedures.
- Training and monitoring of employee performance of delegated tasks.
- Contact with other health care professionals and acting as a client advocate to ensure clear and consistent understanding of issues and care requirements.
- Direct client care and documentation in accordance with ICE Policies and Procedures.
- Completion of other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse certificate required.
- Experience with direct client care is required.
- Knowledge of all delegated duties required.
- Ability to handle stressful situations proactively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
- Vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
- Must have a clear Police Security Clearance.
