Day Program Staff
Job Title: Day Program Staff (1 Vacancy)
Terms of Employment: Early AM Supports Hours
Location: Southside Area
Posting Date: August 25, 2010
Closing Date: September 30, 2010
Salary Range: To be discussed at time of interview
Commitment: One Year Required
This position is responsible for:
- Assisting clients with daily living routines including personal care
- Involving clients in integrated community outings and activities
- Dealing effectively with behaviors
- Housekeeping and simple meal preparation
- Maintaining appropriate documentations and records
Qualifications:
- Experience working with people with disabilities required
- Experience working with challenging behaviors an asset
- Experience working with personal care an asset
- Must have a clear Criminal Record Check & two work related references
- Vehicle, valid driver’s license and 3rd party $1 million liability insurance required
- Clear IRC (Intervention Record Check)
- Valid Work Permit (If Applicable)
