Quality Assurance and Risk Management
ICE has in place several audits that are performed regularly to assist in ensuring the highest quality and consistency of service throughout the various programs and regions. A complete Environmental Quality Audit is performed, by the Manager of Quality Assurance and Risk Management, a minimum of once per year, in all ICE operated residences. The audit enables ICE to have a concise delineation of the health and safety factors and, allows for timely remediation of any identified deficiencies. Random inspections are completed for all programs in which ICE provides support services. These inspections are carried out monthly by a variety of ICE management staff, ICE Nursing Staff and, Health and Safety Committee members.
